Exchange rates shown on our converter are live "Interbank" rates, or the rates at which banks deal with each other in amounts over £5million. These are the rates to which all foreign exchange institutions apply their buying and selling margins, so your actual exchange rate will either be higher or lower than these rates, depending on whether you are buying or selling. Currency Xtra will always strive to work with the narrowest margins, giving you the best possible deal on any currency exchange deal.
